Receipt Beacon Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 7, 2026. These terms apply to Receipt Beacon. If a separate app-store EULA applies to your download or purchase, that EULA also governs your use of the app.

Information You Provide

Receipt Beacon stores receipt images and extracted receipt details you scan or enter, including merchant name, totals, tax, notes, and line items.

How Data Is Used

Your receipt data is used to display, organize, edit, and report on your records inside the app. OCR extraction is used to prefill receipt fields for faster review.

Local Storage

At this time, receipt data is stored locally on your device. If cloud sync features are added later, this policy will be updated before those features are enabled.

Permissions

The app may request camera and photo library access so you can scan receipts or import receipt images.

Your Controls

You can edit or delete individual receipts at any time. You can also clear app data from settings where supported.
